Today’s Woman of Liberia

Today’s Woman of Liberia’s mission is to encourage and empower young ladies of Liberian decent to pursue higher education thereby serving as role models for other young women as well as join the ranks of other successful women before them. We also encourage these young women to be active participants in their communities by volunteering their services to other local organizations. The role of the Liberian woman has changed tremendously over the years, despite the war. Today, Liberia can boast of being f irst in the Africa to have a female president! We aim to highlight the varied accomplishments of women of Liberian decent: Community Leaders, Politicians, Scholars, Mothers, Educators, Healers, Professionals, Athletes, Artists, etc. Today’s Woman Of Liberia also aim to serve as mentors as well as assist in locating scholarships for the ladies in the pageant.
